What’s going on in St Martin

St Martin is the island of fun and entertainment.

From the 1st of January right through to the 31st of  December, St. Martin will win the hearts of many by hosting a vast number of gatherings and events, all of them representative of our island life style. From sports to culture, food and history, each month is a whirlwind of celebrations and get-togethers, with something to interest everyone.

In addition to the events listed hereafter, visitors will enjoy discovering the diverse and varied activities organised on the island by local groups, sports clubs, restaurants, bars and other private establishments throughout the year. These events are relayed in the local press.


Patrimony Day

September 23rd & 24th, 2017: each year, the third weekend of September is devoted to culture and to people wishing to discover historical monuments often closed to the public.
Several excursions are organized for the public all over the island.


World Tourism Day

September 27th, 2017 : Day devoted to the World of Tourism.
Commemoration of this international event by the Saint Martin and Sint Maarten Tourism Offices.
Each year a theme is celebrated and an island personality is rewarded for her contribution to tourism.
