St. Martin moves to the rhythm of many events where you can discover the richness of its traditions and its heritage.

Every Tuesday night, from January to April, gastronomy, music and local arts and crafts are honored with the blend of a Caribbean atmosphere in Grand Case.
In February or March, the carnival on the French side features parades and concerts for an entire week.
In March, the Art Lovers weekend gives you the opportunity to meet local artists.
In April, it is the Dutch side's turn  to celebrate carnival in an electrifying atmosphere.
In June, the largest fishing tournament in the Caribbean, the "Billfish Tournament" gathers some thirty boats from all horizons.
July 14th and 21th festivite holidays providing various entertainment and nautical activities.
In December the Miss Caribbean Hibiscus beauty contest is one of the most popular ones.

St. Martin is the island of fun and entertainment.

From the 1st of January to the 31st of December, the island of St. Martin will conquer the hearts of local and visitors alike by hosting a vast number of gatherings and events, all of them representative of our island life style.
From sports to culture, food and heritage, each month is a whirlwind of celebrations and get-togethers, with something to interest everyone.

international female tennis tournament – january 22nd to january 29th, 2017

Come and encourage the young female tennis players for this tournament which is listed in the World Tennis Association. This tournament will be held for a week and played in single and double games.

37th edition of the heineken regatta

For over 30 years, the Heineken Regatta has created its reputation of "Serious Fun" by gathering sailing fans in a pleasant atmosphere where good beer never runs out for an entire weekend of fun. The biggest names in sailing confront each other in friendly races, each year drawing about three hundred boats, from family cruisers to racing prototypes.

the abolition of slavery – may 28th, 2017

Under the leadership of the collectivity and in partnership with the cultural associations, this event commemorates the end of slavery on the French side of the island.
It is proudly celebrated for the 1st time on the May 28th 2017 which refers to the official day of the abolishment of slavery on French Saint-Martin. Cultural events will be held at Agrément round about.

the billfish tournament – june 21st to june 24th, 2017

The tournament will be taking place in Marigot and is recognized as one of the premier sport fishing tournaments in the Caribbean with an invitation to the ‘Offshore World Championship’ 2018 for the 1st prize winner.

running night - december 15, 2017

Pioneer of the concept of “nocturnal races” in Saint-Martin, the Watt de 9 association will organize the 9th edition of the relay race in Marigot, of 1.9km.
5 runners will be forming a team and each one of them will run 1.9km.
This race are under the regulation of “the Regional league of athletism of Guadeloupe, the prefecture of Saint-Martin and the Collectivité of Saint-Martin”.
The Christmas spirit surround this events where many gift will be offered to the participants.
